For our inaugural ChariTee The Ryde has teamed up with Boarding For Breast Cancer to raise money and promote awareness for breast cancer prevention. B4BC is a non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation. Their mission is to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of an active lifestyle.

As a part of our partnership we are offering up one of our own t-shirt designs, and two from our contest winners. Get a couple of shirts today and fight the good fight.

Yes, I want to help save some boobies. How do I submit my art?

If you are interested in submitting a design, please visit to our Submit Page for instructions on how to submit your art.

How do I stay on top of events that The Ryde and B4BC will be putting on to support this promotion?

You are encouraged to subscribe to blog.theryde.com to find out the various deals and promotions The Ryde will be doing in support of this program. All program announcements will be made through our Blog.

Is there any text that needs to be included in the design? Or logos?

No, you have all the freedom you want with the design. The only restriction is that it must relate to breast cancer somehow. If you can integrate The Ryde or B4BC's logo and still make it cool, then go for it. But it's definitely not a requirement.

Can the design be anywhere on the t-shirt? Or just front and center?

The design can be placed anywhere on the shirt, but it can't be printed off the sleeve. Also, we will not be able to do belt prints for this project (these are the all-over prints like on our Stripes shirt).

What kind of printing process do you use?

We print on a direct-to-garment printer using water-based ink, and we print on an MNR automatic press using water based ink as well. Other types of ink processes can be used upon your design's approval.

Can I use any colors that I want?

Yes. You can use any colors that you want in your design. The only exception is if the shirt color you choose is unavailable, we will choose an alternate color to print your design on. (choosing white or pink for your shirt color is the safest bet)

Can you give me a few adjectives to describe the look and feel that you want for the project?

Yes! Fun and thought provoking. Something that conveys a good sense of humor. Light hearted (This is The Ryde's style). Also be true to whatever your style is. If we were designing this shirt, we'd make it a loose, fun free-hand or tag line tee.

Are you looking for artwork to be adapted or a self-contained complete design?

Complete design, ideally.

Please visit to our Submit Page for instructions on how to submit your art.
